Suburban Prototype III, Hopewell, NJ

Set within a wooded site, the design builds on the architectural character of an existing home originally built in the 1950's.

A new earthen sleeping wing is added as a counterpoint to the existing lifted structure of the original residence.

The new roof mediates the two structures in a continuous geometric progression from earth to sky.

The project is currently in construction.
